~/redkernel — engineering studio

Taking
problems down to the kernel .

A full-cycle engineering studio: software, infrastructure, cybersec, ML/data and system design. We work where “building to spec” is only half the job — a project must be carried into production and kept alive.

Scanning the registry

Projects that run in production: in stores, factories, schools and science. We design, launch and support every one of them ourselves.

Self-service checkout software

We designed and built the UI and software for self-service scales and checkouts for one of the country's largest retail chains — our product now runs in its stores. Weighing, label printing, a product catalog. And all of it keeps running even if the store loses internet.

Factory production accounting

We built a production accounting system for a manufacturing plant — and it now runs in industrial operation. It tracks processes and materials and became the foundation for the plant’s further automation.

Exam prep platform for CT and CE

Together with a major publishing house we are building a preparation platform for the CT and CE national exams. A neural network checks tasks, explains mistakes and adapts the program to each student — instead of one workbook for everyone.

Interactive 3D map of Belarus

For a research organization we built a full 3D digital model of the country: terrain, roads, settlements and objects at true scale — with smooth rotation and zoom, right in the browser.

~/capabilities — what we build

One core — eight tracks

The engineering domain and the result come first; technologies are the second layer. The tracks never work in isolation — around every task they connect into one system.

Web & Backend Systems

Web interfaces, backend services, REST APIs and databases. Internal systems and service-to-service integrations.

React · Next.js · .NET · Java · Python · Rust · SQL

Desktop & Mobile Software

Desktop applications, operator interfaces and mobile clients for our own backends — a single layer over hardware and services.

.NET · WPF · Avalonia UI · Android / iOS

Embedded & Low-level

Microcontrollers, embedded software, serial and network protocols, hardware integration and low-level tooling.

C · C++ · Arduino / ATmega · Serial · TCP

Security & White-hat Hacking

Ethical hacking and secure development: penetration tests, code and infrastructure audits, OPSEC — we find vulnerabilities before attackers do.

OWASP · pentest · hardening · OPSEC

Full-cycle engineering

Eight tracks working as one team — from the first interview to a production server. The studio’s core: we design, build and maintain the systems ourselves.

Machine Learning & Data

The full loop around the model: data, training, quality evaluation, pipelines, inference and service wrappers — not just launching a ready-made model.

tools — matched to the task and the data

Infrastructure & Delivery

Linux servers, Docker, CI/CD, reverse proxies, VPN and environment configuration — up to the project’s production infrastructure.

Linux · Docker / Compose · CI/CD · Reverse proxy · VPN

System & Product Design

Interviews, requirements, specs, MVP scoping, architecture, API design, ERDs and documentation — before the first line of code.

Specs · architecture · ERD · BPMN / DMN

Integration, QA & Automation

Integrations and legacy systems, hardware emulation, unit / integration / UI tests, engineering scripts and process automation.

~/process

From the problem — to a working system

You don't need to know the stack, the architecture, or have a ready-made technical spec in advance. It is enough to understand the problem that needs solving — we take care of the rest.

We do not offload technical decisions onto the client.

Idea / problem

A normal starting point — a task, a problem or a rough idea. A ready-made technical spec is not required.

Researching the task

Interviews, studying the current process, constraints — and understanding the project’s real goal.

Requirements & spec

Structured requirements, scenarios, constraints, the technical spec and an agreed scope.

Architecture & MVP

Architecture, data model, API boundaries, technology choices, the MVP scope and an implementation plan.

Development

Frontend, backend, desktop / mobile / embedded, integrations, code review and iterative demos of the result.

QA

Unit, integration, end-to-end / UI, hardware emulation and testing of real scenarios.

Infrastructure & launch

Domain, servers, Docker, CI/CD, environments, deployment and operations documentation.

Support & evolution

Fixes, evolution, new features and post-launch maintenance — in an agreed format.

~/team — who we are

Five engineers — one core

A small team of engineers with distinct areas of responsibility — from desktop and embedded to ML and interfaces. No hierarchy: the task is led by whoever understands it best.
